Q. |
Can this arch be put down in concrete for stability ? If so, are the post long enough before the diamond shape so they can be sunk in.
Thanks

Hi Elizabeth
These posts have enough height on them to be sunk into the ground.
If you have any further questions please contact me.

Q. |
Can the arch be cut to reduce the width, if so by how much? Thanks |
| |
|
| |
A. |
Hi Tony
Many thanks for your question.
You are able to reduce the width of the arch slightly by moving the uprights inwards.
If you wish to cut the arch to make this smaller then this is at your discretion and would void your warranty on the item.
I hope this helps!
If you have any further questions please contact me.

Q. |
what is the width to the outside of posts and what diameter are posts? |
| |
|
| |
A. |
Hi John,
The posts are 2 inches thick in diameter. Rounded posts.
The width to the outside of the posts is 1380mm approximately.
Do you have an existing path you are looking to place the arch over?

Q. |
would it be possible to adapt this arch to fit in a space of 130cms wide between two fence posts |
| |
|
| |
A. |
Hello Ann,
You should be able to alter this with no issues to fit in a space of 130cm. Basically, you would have a steeper point, or the overhang would be longer on each side. They would not be able to build this in a different manner, and the pre-drilled holes probably would not line up.
They did advise that constructing the item in this way would likely void the warranty on the item, but that it should not create any issues.
Were there any other arches you were looking as at well as this one?
Sincerely,
The Gardeners World Team |
