Q. |
The dimensions you give do not make sense in real life - please could you tell me the actual distance between the upright posts. Do you have a picture of this arch with a person standing in it for scale? |

Hi,
The dimensions of the Forest Ultima Pergola Arch are the following:
Height - 2.2m
Width - 1.82m
Depth - 1.36m
All dimensions are to the widest points.

The Arch is to be set in the ground. How much extra length is there on the legs to achieve the final height measurement you quote? Thank you. |

Q. |
Have just ordered this arch and would like to know if the support legs are standard width for the metal spikes to put in ground if I don't decide to dig the legs in.
Many thanks |

Hi Kevin,
You can use quite large spikes to secure the arch if you don't want to dig it into the ground too much. Large metal spikes would be best.

Q. |
Does the product come with spikes to set it into the ground? Or are these extra? |
| |
|
| |
A. |
The product does not come with spikes, but does not require them as it comes with extra long legs to sink into the ground.
Kind regards |

Q. |
We recently bought one of these Arches and now require another but in a different size can we have one made?
The Height is the same but both the width and depth need to be 5ft 11in with only the rear fitted with trellis is this possible and if so how much and what time scale.
Thank you. |

Hi Mr Rhodes,
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately we cannot make arches to bespoke sizes. Only in the sizes listed on our website. We do have a wide range of arches available though. You can also widen this arch as you install it. But only by a small amount. Perhaps 2 inches on either side. Would this be suitable? If not we'll have a look at the other arches we offer for you.

Q. |
I presume this pergola arch is self-assembly. are all fixings supplied with it? I am 60+ and wondering if I will need help to fix it? |
| |
|

A. |
Hi Barbara,
Thanks for your enquiry.
The arch is self assembly. It will arrive flat packed, with all fixtures and fittings included. Simple step by step assembly instructions are also included.
I hope this answer helps?

Q. |
Is this product hardwood? |

Hi vernon,
All of the Forest products are softwood. Is it hardwood you are after? We have many other arches, some hardwood.

Q. |
Does the arch need to have spikes put in the ground, or does it just go in the ground in concrete please? |
| |
|
| |
A. |
Hi Janet,
Either will work.
You can use either spikes, or secure into a concrete base. Both work with the same success rate and stability.
We would recommend if you are concreting the arch in, to ensure that at least 15cm is sunk into the ground.
Do you have concrete or ground anchors you can use with the arch?
We sell a range of post ground anchors below should you need them:
